Official BYD website ↗Australian-market models only. Past models remain available for existing owners; future entries require a confirmed Australian launch within two years of 17 October 2026.
Car types describe the model family; body styles may cover different Australian model years or variants. Confirm the exact body style and seating with the manufacturer. Seat filters match the listed total seats, including the driver, across model years and grades. Models with several layouts can appear under more than one seat count. Confirm the exact Australian grade; seat and drivetrain options may belong to different grades. Vans are included. Model families may include multiple powertrains and drive options across Australian model years. Filters match the same powertrain option. Battery and electric range figures cover the model years or reference grades stated on each card. Total and usable battery capacity differ. WLTP, WLTC and NEDC figures are laboratory claims, not guaranteed real-world range; do not compare different test cycles directly. PHEV and REEV figures show electric-only range. Check the exact grade with the manufacturer. ANCAP reports apply only to their listed variants and build dates; Cards show the verified rating, test year and report coverage. A rating marked “not confirmed” has no verified matching report.

Australian vehicle recalls ↗Fangchengbao and Yangwang are part of the wider BYD group. We have not verified a separate Australian retail model range for either brand from the official local sites checked. Use the Australian Denza B5 and B8 listings rather than assuming overseas Fangchengbao specifications or manuals apply. Denza’s official Australian Z9GT page is marked “Arriving Soon”.
Shark 6 Performance and Cab Chassis are covered within the Shark 6 model family. Atto 3 EVO has its own entry because instructions and fitment can differ from the original Atto 3. The e6 and T3 are included for existing owners as legacy Australian models, with support referred to BYD.
